"Twelve years ago my middle son at the age of 17 was riding his long board home when he fell and suffered a traumatic brain injury. The journey has been a difficult one, especially when you have a grown person that no longer walks, or can independently dress himself. Along the way I have been able to adapt to many of his disadvantages and his gains and I wanted to be able to help other moms and caregivers who maybe going through some of those same challenges. I am not a professional tailor so the work may not be perfect but my main goal is to make it adaptable and functional. Because my son spent 6 months at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore after his injury and they do amazing work for kids I will be donating 10% of my sales.
